A: Yes, it's possible. But you need a proper transfer switch and ensure the generator's output voltage and frequency are compatible with the battery and its connected inverter. The transfer switch will manage the power flow between the generator, battery, and your loads. Also, make sure the generator has sufficient power capacity to recharge the battery if needed.
Q: How does the battery's performance change over time?
A: Initially, you'll get optimal performance. But over years of use, due to factors like charge-discharge cycles, the battery's capacity may gradually decline. However, with proper maintenance and following the recommended usage guidelines (such as charging within the 0.2C - 0.5C range), you can slow down this degradation. Regularly monitor the battery's voltage and capacity to gauge its health.
Q: Are there any specific fire safety requirements for this wall-mounted lithium battery?
A: The battery casing is usually made of fire-retardant material. Still, it's advisable to keep flammable materials away from it. Install it in a well-ventilated area and have a fire extinguisher nearby, preferably one suitable for electrical fires.
